It's that time of year(???) again! An actual journal update!
First of all, anyone who's watched me has probably been seeing these characters around forever, and a few may even have tried to read those old pencil comics of them from years ago, but I am finally remaking them! (Seriously, it's been over a decade) Even before I finished the series, I've been wanting to make many changes and jotting down notes. How exciting!

It's surprisingly tricky to remake something. It's like you have to go back and erase all those years of development and start at ground zero, while still trying to make sure it "feels" fresh, instead of making readers feel like they walked in late on something, haharg. And instead of developing the story with the events (and growing with the characters), there's so much already set in stone that must be worked around... unless I fundamentally change those stones? IDK.
Boring Adult Stuff:
As for real life, I've practically got a degree in my hands! It took a bit longer as I was paying my own way and classes are expensive. I've still got my same 'ol retail job, but am also dabbling in Childrens' books, as I've also had another part-time job illustrating those for someone for the past few years. I'm still learning a lot about the whole process, but with each book, my illustrations start to look a little more professional? (And yet I'm still sitting here asking "what do I do with my life?" lol. I learned a lot of useful stuff with my Graphic Design education, which has and will be put to use one way or another, but jeez, just look at the typography on my front cover! I'm not sure I'm even any good at it! siiiigh)
Overall, life is pretty good. The husband is also close to graduating... he's gon' be a rock expert! Woot!
Oh yeah, also, did you guys know how many years it's been since I changed my avatar??? Almost 6!
Probably going to watch that Hey Arnold! Jungle Movie soon. I forgot how much I loved that show, so it's exciting that they finally concluded it, but I'm always hesitant about reboots. Hopefully this one does not disappoint. So what are my lovely watchers and visitors up to?

Hello, again, World!

Life has been well! Many ups and very deep downs, but there is an underlying reminder that things will be alright. I feel like I am at that stage in my life where there will be very big changes soon! (Marriage and moving out and all that spooky stuff!)
I've talked a lot about my Beyond Bloom comic series lately, which was finished over a year ago, though I am rewriting parts of it on my own time, I don't think the results will be seen anytime soon! So many plot-holes to work through.
I also realize I have a lot of watchers who liked my Hetalia stuff, and it's a shame I hadn't felt inspired to draw it, lately!
Anyways, I'm attempting, once again, to become active on this website! One big deterrent is feeling like everytime I check out the community's art, I feel a little horrified, like I somehow wandered into a porn site. o_O I realize I'm a little old to worry about this, but I always have been a bit of a prude, and my Christian beliefs tend to conflict with it, but I can still exist within my own bubble. (Did everyone else who couldn't take it just flee to Tumblr?)
Also, D.A. changed a lot and I'm still figuring out how things work! I do, however, enjoy the 'undiscovered' category they added.
Anyways, enough about me, I was wondering how you guys have been doing. There are a lot of fellows who I'd cherished and held conversations with in the past. I hope you all are doing okay, and I'd love to hear from you again!

So, it appears I have finally uploaded the last of Beyond Bloom after spending a long while unable to scan it or just having forgotten it, haha. But I'm glad it's all finally up there, now. It makes me so happy that some people have actually read through it, and especially when you give commentary/tips/reactions. :'3 You guys really make my day. I must internet-hug you. 
Ehem, so school's preeeetty much one credit hour away from being full-time, and I'm also working, so if I've said I was busy before, I was lying. NOW I'm busy. I no longer have weekends, they're "Oh boy, I have time to do homework in between my job and sleeping!" ...Well, okay, I still have some free time, like to poke around DA, as I'm doing now, but you know what I mean. Gotta place obligations. There may still be some inactive pauses from me.
And my activity messages have literally collected to be over 300. There's an awful lot of people
ing my Hetalia fanart, among other things... and I'm not gonna be able to keep up with my system of visiting each and every person who favs something of mine. =w=; Maybe I'll pick it up again, one day, but for now, I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to leave things as they are. Haha.... I appreciate them, I really do, it's just hard to keep up. /;3;/ *throws towel*

So I return from being dead on deviantart again wah. And I neglected to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, but it's not too late to wish everyone an early Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/all that jazz : D Christmas time makes me all excited and stuff. I just wish it'd snow. I live in Texas. It was like, 80 degrees all day
Anyways, there's a pretty cool series of events that happened recently. My mom, who works as the administrator at the same place I work at, had recently helped set up a newly hired guy, Chris, and when you see him in the walkways, he's just this tall towering and official looking figure. I thought the guy was like some big CEO guy coming to visit the store! Apparently he's just a cashier who also happens to be a professional opera singer. o_o I talked to him, his locker is practically right next to mine. He's actually really cool. He's a very friendly guy who traveled the world and tries to minister and share his happiness with people through music, with his Russian wife who is ALSO a professional opera singer, and his daughter, who joins them on stage sometimes. My mom and I looked him up on Youtube and we were like "Why the heck is this guy working HERE?". But I think he and my mom are becoming friends, or at least close acquaintances! So the guy invited my family to see one of his Christmas performances that were going to happen nearby, and we went on Saturday and WOW! That was really beautiful! He had friends and family and other singers up there singing their heart out and bringing tears to the audience (most of them were elderly...I might have been the youngest one in the audience XD) Anyways, I just thought that was cool and wanted to share that c: He's also saw my drawings that I left at work and he commented on how he'd like to hire me to illustrate a cover to his CD or something XD Hehehe, that would be something.
As for internet stuff, frankly, I'm a little intimidated by the messages I have, not comments and replies, cause I'm working on those, but people faving my fanart and some of my original stuff; I'm trying to live up to my promise I made to myself years ago that I'd show everyone some sort of appreciation for favs and stuff by giving them llama badges or comments or something, but now there's over 100 and it feels like it grows more everyday, and goodness, I just can't keep up with it! XD It's getting to be stressful. I'm sorry guys... ;u;
